I wish there was an option to group specific notes together. Oh and you can export all of your notes at once to a zip archive! Love that.Īs great as Simplenote is it could use some improvements. As I've been using Simplenote for years my notes have built up and I have hundreds of notes sometimes have a hard time finding a note so I'll use the searchbar, don't know what I'd do without that - it saves tons of time. The pins feature is super useful as well, using them allows you to easily find an important note as pinned notes stick to the top of the list of saved notes, new notes go below. I also use the Focus Mode from time to time, which hides the sidebar making things more focused on the writing.

The multi-device syncing allows me to access my notes with ease from any phone, tablet, or computer as long as I have an internet connection (there's an offline mode too) as everything syncs together pretty seamlessly.
There has been a few times where notes took a little longer to sync than I expected, but not too big of a deal. I absolutely love the fact that Simplenote is cross-platform and self syncing. Simplenote is the perfect solution for when I need to quickly save an idea, thought, or remember other information for later. Comments: Simplenote is helping me keep all of my information and notes in one place, and allows me to access them wherever I go - it's like the modern day equivalent of always having some paper and pen on you.
